Rare As One Project

The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI) is launching the Rare As One Project to lift up the work that patient communities are doing to accelerate research and drive progress against rare diseases, which affect 400 million people worldwide. As part of the project, CZI is inviting patient-led 501(c)(3) organizations to apply for a new two-year grant opportunity to support the development and launch of a research network in their rare disease area in partnership with clinicians and researchers. As part of this opportunity, CZI will provide up to 10 groups with funding, training, community mentorship, and capacity-building services. Letters of interest will be accepted until 23^rd July 2019 at 5 pm Pacific time.
