The European Paediatric Translational Research Infrastructure (EPTRI) is organising a webinar tailored to the development of medical devices (MD), titled “A magnifying glass in the world of the medical device development”.
The webinar will take place on January 20th, 2022 from 11.00 CET.
This webinar concludes the series of webinars “A journey in paediatric medical devices: from regulations to clinical case studies and patients involvement”.
During the webinar, case studies will be presented that will focus on several interesting fields of MDs such as a new MRI mini capsule marker device to measure whole intestinal transit (WGTT), a medical device capable of stimulating arousal to support patients with Central Hypoventilation Syndrome Congenita (CCHS), a system for the detection of neonatal seizures (ANSeR – Algorithm for Neonatal Seizure Recognition).
The webinar speakers are Professor Luca Marciani (University of Nottingham, UK), Engineer Caterina Piazza (IRCCS E. Medea, Italy), Professor Geraldine Boylan (University College Cork, Ireland, and Irish Centre Maternal & Child Health Research – INFANT).
Registration is mandatory for the webinar.
